Below is a brief description of each exciting camp program along with the link to their full listing. Adventures await your kids this summer at these daily, weekly, or multi-week programs! 

We suggest that you:

A program of the National Inventors Hall of Fame® (NIHF), Camp Invention is a nationally acclaimed summer program for children in grades K-6, where STEM concepts come to life. Led by local teachers, this program has tapped into kids' natural curiosity since 1990, giving them the opportunity to become innovators through teamwork and immersive, hands-on creative problem-solving.

Camp GOTR by

Girls on the Run

Camp GOTR by Girls on the Run provides a one-of-a-kind opportunity for girls to develop self-confidence and learn life skills they can use now and as they grow. Girls will enjoy building friendships in a fun and inclusive setting that includes interactive lessons, being physically active and expressing creativity through arts and crafts and storytelling. Led by caring and qualified Girls on the Run coaches, this week-long camp combines the best of the Girls on the Run program with all the fun of camp.

Lowell Locks 

Elementary Camps

These activity-based, week-long day camps meet Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with graduation and family activities on Friday evening. We will enroll students based on the grade they will be entering in the fall. For example, if a student will be going into 1st or 2nd grade, he/she should enroll in the 1st/2nd grade camp.

Gymnastics

Camps available for children 5-12 years old. Weekly field trips including swimming, ice skating, and gymnastics. (2019 information not updated yet)

Beta Bouldering Gym

Beta Bouldering offers summer rock climbing camps for kids of all ages and skill levels! Their highly-qualified instructors work with campers to introduce the sport of climbing in a safe, friendly, and stimulating environment! If your child is already a climber, they will work to hone their skills through a series of fun, interactive challenges, and games. Climbing is a wonderful sport builds confidence while improving balance, strength, focus and coordination.

The BGC summer program is packed with fun-filled adventures and trips. They have locked in Willow Bend Education Center into their summer schedule, with trips to Picture Canyon, Pueblos, Ponds and learning the history and geology of our Beautiful Flagstaff. (2019 information not updated yet)

FALA

CampFALA is a two week camp for kids ages 8-16 to experience the arts and sciences. Our sessions include dance, theatre, music, visual arts, as well as robotics and science. CampFALA allows students to learn new skills and experiment with different mediums.

Spirits

Campers will learn about various artists during this year’s camps, including Picasso, Renoir, Michelangelo, Rembrandt, Dali, Chihuly, daVinci, Mondrian, Matisse, Van Gogh, Warhol and Monet. We’ll explore different types of art and children will sketch; paint with watercolor and acrylic mediums; tie-dye; use chalk pastels; learn to blend and tint/shade; and create many different crafts and art projects using techniques like pop art, mixed media, alcohol ink, mosaic and mandala patterns.

Eco-Explorers Summer Camps are nature-based, experiential, STEAM-centered camps for your young explorer. Camps are available for ages 4-11, with age-specific groups.

Club

Activities are age appropriate, emphasize social and character development, leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship and fun! Campers are encouraged to socialize and make new friends through structured activities for teams and individuals as well as free time. (2019 information not available yet)

Museum of

Northern Arizona

The Museum of Northern Arizona's Discovery Program is a gateway into the wonders of the Colorado Plateau. Taught by experienced educators, these programs offer an exciting range of hands-on learning opportunities about the region's traditions of fine arts, natural sciences, Native cultures, and ecology. Small class size allows maximum interaction between educators and campers.

Bug

Camp

Campers will learn about insect natural history and biodiversity through a series of fun project and activities. Campers collect insects and create their own insect collection, build their own bug, and we finish the week with by preparing and sharing insect cuisine with invited family members and friends.
